Julio Montes is an accomplished culinary professional with a diverse background in culinary management and education. Currently serving as Corporate Executive Chef at SLA Management, Inc. since January 2022, Julio is responsible for developing the culinary innovation strategy and standards while being the primary culinary expert within the company. Julio has extensive experience in healthcare and educational culinary services, holding positions such as Executive Chef at Morrison Healthcare and Director of Culinary/Dining Services at Chartwells School Dining Services since 2009. With a strong emphasis on operational management, food quality, and client relationships, Julio has effectively led teams and overseen multiple dining accounts, including corporate dining with Compass Group North America and The Cheesecake Factory. Julio's professional journey began with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Chemistry from Inter American University of Puerto Rico-Ponce, complemented by an Associate's degree in Culinary Arts from the Caribbean Culinary Institute.
