We are looking for a leader to help build out and run our paid digital marketing team in the region. In this role, your mission will be to accelerate the impact of our regional sales team with digital demand generation programs.This role owns strategy, team leadership, and execution of Slack’s digital marketing efforts across paid channels to drive the customer lifecycle and journey.

What you will be doing

  • Lead paid digital marketing strategy and plans aligned to business goals and strategy in Japan and Korea. Build, lead and grow the team.

  • Own planning, development, and execution of digital marketing across paid channels, including paid search, display, paid social, content syndication and email, to drive the customer lifecycle and journey.

  • Work with both regional and central marketing teams to build a regional approach to digital marketing, using global best practices, resources, content, tools and processes.

  • Partner with Growth Marketing team, Digital Strategy team and Brand Marketing team to deliver integrated digital customer experiences to maximize the business impact.

  • Partner with Campaigns team and Field marketing team to deliver integrated digital marketing programs, specific to campaigns and field programs.

  • Define paid digital resourcing needs and manage agency and vendor relationships.

  • Use data and analytics to optimize digital marketing strategies and programs.

  • Synthesize data into insights and actions, provide recommendations, and effectively communicate results and next steps to senior management and stakeholders

  • Communicate plans and program results to a broad audience of sales, marketing, and leadership by partnering within the regional marketing team.

  • Manage paid digital marketing budget with accountability for marketing ROI.

What you should have

  • 10+ years experience in B2B digital marketing, partnering closely with global and regional teams 4+ years of people management experience

  • In-depth knowledge of running B2B enterprise digital marketing programs (Paid search, display, paid social, content syndication, web, email) to drive conversions and sales pipeline

  • Fluency with attribution and measurement systems

  • Analytical mentality and a data-informed approach

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, often amidst ambiguity

  • Excellent interpersonal skills - and a love for working in highly cross-functional environments

  • Superb communication and the ability to inspire senior executives, peers, and direct reports with your vision and roadmap

  • Action-oriented with a “roll up your sleeves approach”

  • Proficiency in Japanese and English
