Humza Naveed

Humza Naveed started their work experience in 2016 as a Research Assistant at KICS, where they worked in the Computer Vision and Machine Learning Lab. In April 2017, they became a Research Officer in the same lab and worked until August 2017.

In 2017, Humza joined SlashNext, Inc. as a Machine Learning Engineer. Humza worked on various projects, including Phishing Detection with high precision and recall rates, as well as Document Classification using Deep Learning in TensorFlow. In July 2019, they were promoted to the role of Senior Machine Learning Engineer, where they trained TinyBert for Smishing classification, achieving exceptional precision rates.

Overall, Humza Naveed has gained valuable experience in machine learning and computer vision through their positions at KICS and SlashNext, Inc.

Humza Naveed completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Electronics Engineering from the University of Engineering and Technology, Taxila from 2011 to 2015. The field of study during this time focused on Electronics, Image Processing, and Signal Processing. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering at the University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore from 2016 to 2017. Their area of specialization during this period included Computer Vision, Machine Learning, and Deep Learning.
