Michael Wangia

Michael Wangia has worked in the software engineering field since 2010. In 2010, they began working as a Software Developer, Research and Innovation at Medecision. In 2013, they joined Dell and held three positions, Software Development Engineer, Software Development Staff Engineer, and Senior Software Engineer. At Dell, they were responsible for upgrading APIs from SSL to TLSv1.2, migrating data from MySQL database and Solr to Elasticsearch, and writing Ansible playbooks. In 2017, they joined Comcast as a Senior Software Engineer and led a team of five in the implementation of a Spring Security-based authentication and authorization service. In 2019, they joined Guru (getguru.com) as a Senior Software Engineer. Most recently, in 2022, they joined Slatewell as a Staff Software Engineer.

Michael Wangia attended Drexel University from 2013 to 2019, where they obtained a Master of Information Systems. Prior to that, they attended the University of Pennsylvania from 2006 to 2010, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Engineering. In February 2022, they obtained an AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
