Swaroop Kalasapur, Ph.D., is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in software technology innovation and cloud and edge technologies. Currently serving as the Head of the SLB Software Technology Innovation Center (STIC) and leading initiatives in Cloud & Edge Technology at SLB, Swaroop has previously held roles as Lead Researcher and Senior Engineer at Samsung Research America in Silicon Valley. Academic foundations include a Doctor of Philosophy in Computer Science and a Master of Science in Computer Science, both from The University of Texas at Arlington. Early career experiences encompass positions as a Graduate Research Associate and Software Developer, showcasing a deep commitment to research and development in the field of computer science.
