Susan DeFranco is a seasoned professional in consumer insights and market research, currently serving as the Senior Director of Sleep and Innovation Research at Sleep Number Corporation since January 2013. In this role, Susan is responsible for establishing an embedded insights organization within the Innovation division, focusing on product innovation consumer research and the advancement of sleep science. Previously, Susan held the position of Senior Director of Consumer Insights and Analytics, where the team grew under their leadership and established a comprehensive insights roadmap for strategy and product development. Prior experience includes roles at Wells Fargo as Vice President of Marketing Insights & Measurement, CNS, Inc. as Market Research Manager, and The Pillsbury Company as Associate Market Research Manager. Susan holds a Master of Science in Marketing Research from the Wisconsin School of Business and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
