Gabriel Natan Pires has worked in a variety of roles since 2010. Gabriel Natan began their career in 2010 as Managing Editor for the Brazilian Sleep Association at Sleep Science. In 2012, they became a Professor at Universidade Gama Filho, and in 2013 they became an Editor at Springer Science+Business Media, as well as a Professor at Viguera Editores and Complexo Educacional FMU. In 2017, they began working as a Researcher and Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Instituto do Sono | AFIP. In 2018, they became a Professor of Physiology at Faculdade de Ciências Médicas da Santa Casa de São Paulo. Finally, in 2019 they became the Director of Sleep Research at SleepUp.
Gabriel Natan Pires completed their Biomedicine degree from the Universidade Federal de Ciências da Saúde de Porto Alegre from 2006 to 2009. Gabriel Natan then went on to pursue a Master's degree in Psychobiology from the Universidade Federal de São Paulo, which they completed in 2012.
