David Wood

David Wood has over 15 years of experience in the beverage industry. David began their career in 2005 as a Wine Manager at SWS. In 2014, they joined Southern Glazer's Wine and Spirits as a District Manager. David is currently employed as the Sales Director - The Americas at Sliabh Liag Distillers, a position they have held since 2019.

David Wood holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from San Francisco State University, which they obtained between 2003 and 2006 with a major in Business Administration and Management, Marketing. David also holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) from UC San Diego, which they obtained between 1992 and 1996 with a major in Sociology. Additionally, they spent one year studying International Business at the University of Essex between 1994 and 1995.

Wood has obtained several certifications, including WSET Level II in September 2013, Certified Specialist of Spirits in March 2013, Certified Sake Professional in October 2012, and Certified Sommelier from the Court of Master Sommeliers in May 2007.
