Dan Morrow has a diverse work experience in the software engineering field. Dan is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at Slice since July 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Warner Bros. Digital Labs from June 2014 to July 2021, where they started as a Senior Software Engineer and contributed to the development of the DramaFever and Shudder streaming video apps.

Before joining Warner Bros., Dan worked at Excellis Interactive as a Senior Mobile Developer from July 2012 to June 2014. During this time, they worked as a contractor for AmerisourceBergen and led a team of engineers in developing an app for tracking purchases and order inventory. Dan also developed a separate app for AmerisourceBergen used for product sales at a trade show.

From November 2011 to July 2012, Dan worked at Barclaycard as an App Developer Technical Lead. Dan provided technical leadership to a small team and created an iPad app for accessing credit card balances, histories, and making payments. Dan introduced Scrum methodology to the project and wrote client-side REST services with RestKit.

Dan also has experience working at Nokia Location and Commerce (formerly NAVTEQ) as a Senior Software Engineer from May 2010 to November 2011. Dan led the development of a client-side SDK for iOS that provided map functionalities and integrated with back-end services.

Earlier in their career, Dan worked at Managing Editor Inc. as a Technical Manager from March 2007 to April 2010, where they implemented Scrum as a project management method and promoted better coding practices. Dan also worked as a Senior Software Engineer and Tech Lead at the same company from April 2001 to March 2007, where they ported applications to the Carbon SDK and specialized in InDesign/InCopy plugin development.

Dan's career started at JMI Software Consultants as a Software Engineer, where they supported the development of software on both Macintosh and PC platforms from 1994 to 2000.

Dan Morrow attended Drexel University from 1987 to 1992, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science.
