Victor Cooney

Victor Cooney is an experienced Executive Engineer currently serving in the National Roads Project Office at Donegal County Council since May 2023. With over 25 years of experience in infrastructure projects, Victor's previous roles include positions as Area Engineer and Executive Engineer at the National Roads Project Office for Sligo County Council and Galway County Council, as well as a Resident Engineer for various projects including the Arklow Water Supply Scheme with Wicklow County Council. Victor holds a Masters in Engineering Hydrology and a B.E. in Civil Engineering from the University of Galway, along with a degree in Water and Wastewater Engineering from the Institute of Technology, Sligo.
