Ian R.

Ian R. has over 18 years of work experience in the technology industry, beginning with their service as a Counterintelligence Agent - Sergeant in the United States Army Reserve from 2003. Ian then moved to the corporate world in 2007, working as a Global Account Executive for Federal Sales at Enterasys Networks, where they managed customer relationships with the Department of Defense, NATO, and other US federal accounts. In 2012, they joined Rapid7 as a Senior Account Manager, where they managed $4.4 million in federal and Fortune 500 business. Ian then moved to CloudLock as Director of Strategic Accounts and Director of Federal Markets, where they developed and owned GTM for top Enterprise Accounts and US Federal Market and was responsible for 30% of the company's revenue. In 2016, they joined Cisco as a Cybersecurity Specialist and Cloud Security Specialist, where they were responsible for developing, managing, and maintaining senior US Federal Executive relationships and recruited FedRAMP sponsorship for several Cisco technologies. Currently, Ian R. works as Head of Partnerships at Slim.AI and Entrepreneur In Residence at FXP.

Ian R. is currently enrolled in an Executive Certificate program at MIT Sloan Executive Education, which they began in 2021 and is expected to complete in 2022. Ian previously attended Wentworth Institute of Technology from 2003 to 2005, studying Management Information Systems. In 2004, they attended the United States Army Intelligence School to become a Counterintelligence Agent. Ian R. also holds four additional certifications: a Blockchain Technologies: Business Innovation & Applications Certificate from the MIT Sloan School of Management (obtained in February 2022), a Cisco Fire Jumper - Advanced Threat Certification from Cisco (obtained in March 2019), a Cisco Fire Jumper - Cloud Web & Email Certification from Cisco (obtained in March 2019), and a Sandler Presidents Club Certification from Sandler Training (obtained in June 2011).
