TehShan Lee

TehShan Lee's work experience begins in 2007 as a Human Resources Manager for the Asian & Pacific Islander American Health Forum, where they counseled and influenced managers on employee issues. From 2010 to 2012, they served as an Employment Counselor at the San Mateo County Library, assisting job seekers with various career-related tasks. In a pro-bono role at Phase2Careers from 2010 to 2012, TehShan built an online presence, managed social media accounts, and acted as a brand ambassador. They also served as a Board Member for YNPNsfba from 2009 to 2012, playing a key role in co-producing a national conference and leading a successful fundraising campaign. TehShan then moved on to NCC Group, where they served as a Human Resources Manager from 2012 to 2014, managing HR for multiple acquisitions and overseeing policy coordination. They joined Intarcia Therapeutics in 2014 as a Senior Human Resources Manager before moving to Alibaba Group in 2015. At Alibaba, TehShan held the roles of Human Resources and Benefits Consultant and North America HR Operations Manager, where they managed health and benefits plans, integrated acquisitions, and set up an HR Shared Services Center. In 2019, TehShan joined NIO as a People Operations Partner, handling HR operations and special projects. Finally, they became a Human Resources Director at Nephrosant, Inc. in 2021 and continued in that role at Slingshot Biosciences from 2022.

TehShan Lee obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Psychology from UCLA, where they studied from 1993 to 1997. In terms of certifications, TehShan Lee earned the "SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP)" certification from SHRM in December 2015. Additionally, they obtained the "Professional in Human Resources (PHR)" certification from the HR Certification Institute (HRCI) in June 2020. TehShan Lee acquired a second "SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP)" certification from SHRM in December 2015. They also obtained a "Professional in Human Resources (PHR)" certification from the HR Certification Institute (HRCI) in July 2017. Finally, TehShan Lee earned their first "PHR, Professional in Human Resources" certification from the HR Certification Institute (HRCI) in December 2007.
