Collin Sloan has diverse work experience in the security industry. Collin started their career in 1991, working as a construction laborer, foreman, superintendent, and project manager at Sloan Security Fencing. During the same period, they also held the role of project manager and security technician at Sloan Fencing and Construction/Sloan Forest Construction, where they primarily worked on security and non-security related projects in remote environments.
In 2001, Collin became the VP of Project Development at Sloan Security Group (SSG). Collin held this position until 2017 when they also served as a minority owner and advisor at Sloan Security Technologies.
Collin's involvement with ASIS International began in 2008 when they became the Chairman of Idaho Chapter #121. Collin also held the position of Assistant Regional Vice President, leading ASIS Idaho chapter #21, and was responsible for organizing networking and educational events as well as participating in charitable activities. This led to the chapter being awarded a scholarship for "Best Charitable Event" in 2009.
Collin's other roles within ASIS International include being a member of the Security Architecture and Engineering Committee and serving as Vice Chairman of the ASIS International Idaho Chapter.
Throughout their career, Collin has demonstrated a strong commitment to the security industry and has a range of experience in security project management, construction, and leadership roles.
Collin Sloan PSP/CAGSD Glacier Hunter earned a B.S. degree in Marketing and International Business from the University of Idaho from 1996 to 2001. Prior to that, they obtained a High School Diploma from Eagle High School, covering the years 1993 to 1996. Additionally, they hold certifications in Certified Automated Gate System Designer from the IDEA Institute of Door Education and Accreditation, Certified Gate Operator Installer from the same institution, and Physical Security Professional from ASIS International.
