Jessica James

Jessica James has extensive work experience in the field of human resources and talent acquisition. Their most recent role was as the Director of People Operations at Sloan Security Group, where they were responsible for overseeing core HR functions and operations. Prior to that, they served as the Vice President of People at Briq, where they were a member of the Executive Leadership Team and responsible for developing and executing the People/HR strategy during a hypergrowth period. Jessica also had significant roles at PennyMac Loan Services, LLC, where they were accountable for talent acquisition and talent management processes. Jessica also gained experience in human resources at BlackLine and Amgen. Additionally, they have coaching experience as a soccer coach at La Reina High School.

Jessica James received a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Communication and Media Studies from UC San Diego, where they studied from 2004 to 2008. Jessica also obtained a Certification in Wedding Coordination and Design, as well as a Certification in Conference and Convention Management from the International School of Hospitality through UNLV in 2008. In 2015, Jessica obtained a CBP certification from World at Work.
