Damian Ancukiewicz

Damian Ancukiewicz is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in data and machine learning infrastructure. Currently serving as a Staff Data/ML Infra Engineer at Slope since July 2023, Damian previously held the position of Engineering Manager at Brex from September 2019 to April 2023, where management of the ML Platform team involved creating tooling and services for data scientists. Significant contributions also include the development of real-time machine learning solutions, such as Brex's first real-time card fraud detection model. Prior roles encompass machine learning engineering at Kite.com, software engineering positions at Google, and key leadership roles as Chief Architect and Co-founder at Adaptive Media, Inc. and Ember, respectively. Academic credentials include a Master of Science in Computer Science from UCLA and a Bachelor of Science in Applied Physics from Columbia Engineering.
