Jake Welch

Jake Welch currently serves as the Board Chair for SLS Preschool and has been a member of the Board of Trustees since May 2019. Welch is a Partner at ValueAct Capital, a position held since July 2009. Previous roles include serving as a Director on the Board of LKQ Corporation from August 2020 to May 2023, and Director at Armstrong Flooring, Inc. from April 2016 to June 2020, where involvement included the Member Compensation and Finance Committees. Earlier experience includes a role as Private Equity Analyst at The Blackstone Group from 2006 to 2009. Jake Welch holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from Harvard University, earned between 2002 and 2006.
