Matthews Joy

Matthews Joy is an accomplished professional with a strong background in business development and event operations. Currently serving in Online Event Operations at Slush since February 2023, Matthews facilitates connections between founders and investors. As the Partnership Manager and Founder of the Joy of Finland podcast, Matthews focuses on highlighting Finland's strengths and areas for improvement. Previous experience includes a role as Business Development Manager at Global Health Funds, where Matthews was among the first hires and led outreach efforts to family offices and foundations. Additionally, as the first full-time Sales Development Representative at Aibidia, Matthews successfully engaged with CFOs and tax leaders across Europe and trained new employees. Educational credentials include a Master's Degree in Finance from Hanken School of Economics and a Bachelor's Degree in Business/Commerce from Smith School of Business at Queen's University.
