Jitesh Chauhan

Jitesh Chauhan has extensive work experience in the financial and technology sectors. Jitesh currently serves as the Vice President of Engineering at Smaato, a position they assumed in June 2021. Prior to this, they worked at MSCI Inc. as a Vice President from October 2019 to June 2021, where they played a crucial role in driving scalability and platform upgrade initiatives for the Index Distribution Platform. Before MSCI Inc., Jitesh held the position of Vice President at Bank of America Merrill Lynch from January 2018 to October 2019, where they led the Derivatives Front Office Tech platform. Jitesh was also the Chief Technology Officer at RupeeCircle from March 2018 to May 2019.

In their earlier career, Jitesh worked at Citi as a Vice President from March 2015 to January 2018, where they led the Equities Front Office Technology team and was responsible for driving various initiatives including RFQs and STP flow processing platform for multiple asset classes. Jitesh also worked at JPMorgan Chase & Co. as an Associate Vice President from May 2012 to February 2015, where they led the derivatives back office core processing platform. Prior to that, Jitesh was a Manager at Morgan Stanley from April 2007 to May 2012, where they worked in the Risk & Hedging team and handled FX and IR derivative trades in the Real Estate division. Jitesh also gained consulting experience as a Consultant at Qsource Global Consulting Pvt Ltd from March 2006 to March 2007, and started their career as an Associate at SS&C GlobeOp from July 2004 to February 2006.

Jitesh Chauhan completed their Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Aerospace at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay from 1999 to 2004. During the same period, they also pursued a Master of Technology (M.Tech.) degree in Aerodynamics at the same institution.
