Bassem Akkad

Bassem Akkad currently serves as the Business Development Manager at Smadex, where Bassem focuses on finding new growth opportunities and forming strategic partnerships to expand into new markets. Previously, Bassem worked at the National Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (NTRA) of Egypt as the Mobile Services & Payments DCB Regulator, developing industry guidelines and regulations. Prior to that, Bassem held the position of VAS - Content - OTT - DCB - Mobile advertising Business Development & Partnerships Supervisor at Etisalat Egypt. Bassem studied Management, Marketing, and International Business at The German University in Cairo.
