Renée-Claude Frigon has a diverse work experience in the field of human resources. Renée-Claude is currently the Chief People Officer at Smardt Chiller Group since 2023. Prior to this, they served as the VP of Human Resources (Global) at Xebec Adsorption Inc from 2022-2023. In this role, they managed HR and payroll teams across Canada, the US, and Europe, while also handling company restructuring during a CCAA filing.

From 2019 to 2022, Renée-Claude worked as the Senior Director of Human Resources at Groupe Roxboro BauVal. Reporting directly to the CEO, they led the HR and payroll team in a rapidly growing company. Renée-Claude oversaw corporate and local activities, managed HR function scaling, handled multiple M&A transactions, and implemented new HR and payroll IT systems.

Prior to that, Renée-Claude held the position of Director of Human Resources at Lactanet from 2001 to 2019. In this role, they led the HR team in implementing a value-based organizational culture, managed a company merger, and oversaw HR function scaling. Subsequently, they successfully developed an award-winning company culture, receiving recognition such as the Canadian Awards for Excellence, Elite Healthy Workplace Certification, and Employer of the Year Award at Les Mercuriades.

Their work experience also includes the role of HR Manager at Anachemia Canada Inc, where they established the HR department and managed HR and payroll services for manufacturing facilities and sales branches across Canada and the US.

Renée-Claude began their career as an HR Specialist at Collège des médecins du Québec in 1995-1996.

Renée-Claude Frigon, MBA, CRHA completed their education in a chronological order. Renée-Claude first attended Université de Montréal from 1989 to 1990, where they pursued a Minor in Psychology. Following that, from 1990 to 1993, they obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Relations from the same institution. Later on, they attended HEC Montréal from 1998 to 2001, where they completed an MBA with a focus on International Commerce and Gestion internationale (International Management).
