Edward Mace has a diverse work experience in various industries and roles. Edward is currently working as the Head of Systems Engineering at Smart DCC, where they are responsible for the introduction of systems engineering and enterprise architecture methods and policies. Previously, they worked as a Senior Architect at Smart DCC, leading technology, communications, and systems architecture consultancy for smart metering solutions.

Edward also has experience as a TMIS Consultant at CAE ATS, where they provided software, systems, integration consultancy, and project management. Edward was also a Director at SoftCom Plus Ltd, specializing in business and systems analysis in various industries.

In addition, Edward has worked at British Gas as a Solutions Architect, at AT Engine Controls as a Technical Consultant, and at EDF Energy as an Asset Solutions and Systems Architect. Edward has also worked at Reward.TV as a Data, BI, and Analytics Systems Architect/Developer, at Symbiotics Ltd as a Systems/Software Supplier, at Thales Information Systems as a Business Systems Analyst/Architect, and at TUI Travel as a Business Systems Analyst.

Throughout their career, Edward has demonstrated strong skills in systems engineering, architecture, programming, and consultancy.

Edward Mace CEng MBA earned their MBA degree from The Open University from 1992 to 1995. Prior to that, from 1981 to 1986, they pursued a degree in Chartered Engineering from Experience. Edward Mace obtained the title of Chartered Engineer from the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) in June 1987. Edward also obtained the European Engineer certification from FEANI in September 1990. Most recently, in April 2020, they acquired the Chartered Engineer designation from the Royal Aeronautical Society.
