Ahmed Rafiq

Ahmed Rafiq has worked in the field of data annotation for several companies. Ahmed is currently serving as the Director of Data Annotation at Smart Eye since June 2021. Prior to that, they held multiple roles at Affectiva, including Director of Data Annotation from October 2019 to May 2021, Senior Manager from March 2019 to September 2019, Project Manager from October 2017 to February 2019, Team Lead from June 2016 to September 2017, and Data Annotation Specialist from March 2015 to May 2016.

Ahmed Rafiq completed their Bachelor's degree in Maritime Studies from the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport, where they studied from 2009 to 2014.

In addition to their formal education, Ahmed also obtained several certifications. In November 2021, they received a Certificate of achievement in both Business Analyst and Data Analyst from 365 Data Science. Furthermore, in June 2018, they completed the Python Data Structures course from Coursera, and in April 2018, they finished the Programming for Everybody (Getting Started with Python) course, also from Coursera.

Recently, Ahmed acquired additional certifications. In July 2022, they obtained the Lean Six Sigma - White Belt from the Six Sigma Society. In February 2022, they also received the Data Privacy & Information Security V3.1 certification from Traliant.
