Barrett Hollo has a diverse range of work experience, starting with their role as a Camp Counselor at Incarnation Camp in 2012. They learned about leadership skills, teamwork exercises, and organizing recreational activities. In 2014, they became a Unit Director at the same camp, where they were responsible for overseeing an entire entity and encouraging children to develop their activities and leadership skills.
They later worked as an Apprentice at BMF Media in 2015 before joining The Tab as an Assistant Editor. In this role, they assisted college students in getting their written work published and managed multiple groups of college writers.
In 2016, Barrett joined the Wythe Hotel as an Event Attendant, where they helped set up and break down special events and developed a positive attitude while working with new attendants.
They also worked as a Co-Curricular Programs Office Assistant at Wagner College from 2014 to 2015, where they organized and maintained the daily routine of the office and assisted in executing projects for the student body.
Barrett began their career at SmartFlyer in 2016, initially serving as a Leisure Assistant before progressing to roles such as Leisure Travel Coordinator and Product + Partnerships Manager. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Product + Partnerships, overseeing the company's product development and partnerships.
Barrett Hollo completed a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Arts Administration-Combined Arts from Wagner College between 2011 and 2015. In 2013, Barrett briefly attended La Trobe University, but did not obtain a degree or specialize in any field of study there. In October 2019, Barrett obtained the Virtuoso Wanderlist Specialist certification from Virtuoso Wanderlist.
