Kari Erickson Greenfield

Kari Erickson Greenfield has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Kari started their career as an Operations Manager at Borders, Inc in 1997. Kari then worked as a National Program Manager and later as a National Marketing Manager for Home Depot, where they managed marketing functions and launched new products, contributing to significant retail revenue. Kari also worked as a Licensing and Literary Agent at Greenfield Creative Consulting, where they drove new business revenue and built relationships with major entertainment and educational brands. Kari then joined Meredith Corporation as a Sr. Licensing Manager, negotiating publishing deals and forming licensing partnerships with major entertainment companies. Kari then transitioned to Cengage Learning, where they held various roles, including New Business Development Manager, establishing partnerships for online education courses and skills development solutions. Most recently, they served as the Corporate Development Director at Cengage Learning EMEA, building strategic partnerships and collaborating with education and workforce institutions to develop career pathways and workforce development strategies. Currently, Kari is the VP of Academic Partnerships at Smart Horizons Career Online Education.

Kari Erickson Greenfield pursued their education from 1988 to 1992 at Ithaca College, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications with a minor in Writing. Their field of study specifically focused on Corporate Communications.
