Lucas Oman has a long and varied work experience. In 2020, they worked as a Data Engineering, Reporting, and Analysis Contractor for Smart Panda Labs. In 2019, they were a Data Engineering and Analysis Contractor for their own company, Lucas Oman. From 2008 to 2007, they worked for BookIt.com, starting as a Data Engineering Manager, then becoming the Director of Data, Business Intelligence and Reporting, Lead Application Architect, and Application Architect. In 2007, they also worked as a Contract Web Software Developer and Consultant for their own company. From 2004 to 2007, they worked as a Web Developer for Color Maria, Inc.

Lucas Oman attended Rice University from 2001 to 2003, studying Computer Science. Prior to that, they attended Savannah Country Day School from 1995 to 2001.
