Amy Edwards

Amy Edwards currently serves as General Counsel at Smart Warehousing since August 2023, overseeing all legal functions including commercial contracting, M&A transactions, intellectual property, and litigation management. Prior to this, Amy held various titles including Director of Global Business Practices and Senior Corporate Counsel at Cerner Corporation from September 2014 to August 2023, where responsibilities included advising on complex commercial agreements and managing client disputes. Earlier experience includes serving as Senior Legal Counsel at Epiq Systems, with a focus on corporate governance and M&A transactions, and as an Associate at Polsinelli Shughart PC, where corporate law and estate planning were primary areas of practice. Amy began legal career as an Attorney at Summers & Blauvelt, LC, and as an Assistant to the Pro Se Law Clerk at the United States District Court. Educational qualifications include a Juris Doctor from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus on Accounting from Kansas State University.
