Yana Tcharnaia

Yana Tcharnaia has over 12 years of professional experience in a variety of roles. In 2022, they began their current role as Head of Growth at SmartBarrel. In 2021, they became the VP of Sales at Retalon, an award-winning provider of predictive analytics & AI for retailers. From 2012 to 2011, they served as the Director of Sales and Sales Manager at Jonas Construction Software, a fully integrated ERP software solution for the construction industry. In 2011, they were a Sales associate/ Tech Specialist at Wind Mobile. That same year, they were also a Quality Assurance at the Canadian Heart Research Centre, where they worked as part of a team to develop an important research program. From 2009 to 2008, they held the role of Office Manager at McMaster University Student Association and Volunteer at Hamilton Continuing Care Centre, respectively. Yana has a passion for e-commerce and market research.

Yana Tcharnaia completed their Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing from McMaster University between 2008 and 2012. Prior to that, they attended Vaughan Secondary School between 2004 and 2008.
