Guillermo Huerta, M.I.M. has work experience in the customer service and sales industry as well as in the US Marine Corps. Guillermo began their career in 2001 as a Corporal in the US Marine Corps, where they served until 2007. From 2005 onwards, Guillermo worked at Smart City, first starting as a Customer Service Representative/Technician until 2007. After that, they took on the role of Customer Sales & Service Manager.

Guillermo Huerta, M.I.M. has a diverse education history. In 2003, they attended Westwood College and obtained an AAS degree in Computer Networking, which they completed in 2005. Seeking further education, Guillermo then enrolled at Palo Alto College, where they pursued an Associate's degree in Business Administration and Management from 2018 to 2019.
