Rohit Garg

Rohit Garg is the co-founder and CEO of Smartcoin. Prior to this, they worked as a vice president at Nomura from July 2010 to December 2015, where they were responsible for formulating investment strategies and trade ideas based on macroeconomic and RV themes, including bonds, swaps, inflation-linked instruments and derivatives. Rohit also played an important role in building the Nomura's analytical infrastructure.

Before their work at Nomura, Garg held positions as a summer intern at Citi in 2009, a senior analyst at Deutsche Bank from May 2007 to June 2008, and an IT associate at Morgan Stanley from August 2006 to April 2007.

Rohit Garg completed a PGDM in Finance, Strategy, and Entreprenurship from the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad. Rohit also holds a B.Tech. in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur.
