Katie Harris

Katie Harris has worked in various roles in the marketing and publishing industries since 2000. Katie started their career as a News Intern at El Campo Leader-News in 2000, where they researched and reported news and feature stories. In 2003, they were hand-picked by the Managing Editor to fill a vacancy in the advertising department, where they were responsible for selling and designing ads. In 2006, they worked as a Marketing Assistant at Barnes Gromatzky Kosarek Architects, where they identified new business opportunities and assisted with the development of general and opportunity-specific marketing strategies. Katie also worked as a Design & Editing Intern at BookPros, LLC, where they created materials for the publishing and mass marketing of books. Katie then worked as a Marketing & Business Development Coordinator at Encotech Engineering Consultants in 2010, followed by a role as Director of Marketing at RVi Planning + Landscape Architecture in 2012. In 2021, they worked as a Project Manager at Smartegies, and in 2022, they founded Cultivate Growth Partners, where they focus on Strategic Marketing, Communications, and Merger/Acquisition Integration.

Katie Harris attended El Campo High School prior to obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Advertising with a minor in Business from The University of Texas at Austin in 2006. In 2008, they obtained a LEED Accredited Professional certification from the United States Green Building Council. In 2014, they completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus in Leadership from Concordia University Texas.
