Mark McMurrey

Mark McMurrey has a diverse work experience in business development and management roles. Mark has worked as the Managing Director at Aquarian Ventures LLC since January 2019. Before that, they served as the Director of Business Development at Smarter Sorting starting in April 2018. Prior to that, they had a long tenure at Pantheon Chemical, where they worked in business development from 2001 to 2018. Mark also had a role in business development at 1st Detect from June 2014 to July 2017, focusing on various markets such as pharmaceutical, government, petrochemical, and healthcare. Mark began their career in business development at Captive Insurance Group, LLC in August 2012, and stayed there until May 2014.

Mark McMurrey attended The Kinkaid School from 1971 to 1980. Following high school, they pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a focus on Finance and Real Estate at The University of Texas at Austin from 1982 to 1984. Prior to their time at The University of Texas, McMurrey spent two years at Wake Forest University studying Economics from 1980 to 1982.
