Erik Akhtar

Erik Akhtar has an extensive work experience in the field of information technology and military leadership. Erik began their career at Boston University as an Information Systems Analyst, troubleshooting issues for faculty and staff. Erik then transitioned to the role of Client Support Specialist and later to an IT Consultant, providing technical assistance to faculty, staff, and students.

In 2019, Erik joined SmartLabs as an IT Senior Manager, where they were responsible for managing all aspects of the IT department, including IT Management, Service Desk operations, Network Management, IT Infrastructure operations, and IT Security.
