Yanina Erman

Yanina Erman has a diverse background in communications and marketing. Yanina is currently working as the Global Head of Communications at Smartly.io. Prior to this, they held the role of Vice President of Marketing and Communications at Essence from February 2022 to July 2023. Yanina also worked as the Director of Communications and Marketing at WPP from July 2020 to January 2022. Yanina has a strong background in agency work, having served as the Director of Communications, North America at Geometry Global from June 2016 to July 2021. Before that, they worked as a PR Director at Pulse Creative from May 2013 to June 2016. Yanina also has experience as an independent publicist, brand strategist, and media consultant at YE Communications from May 2010 to September 2014. Yanina's earlier career includes roles as a Senior Account Manager at Workhouse Publicity from December 2007 to March 2010, an Account Coordinator at Weber Shandwick in 2007, and a Beauty Accounts Intern at Paul Wilmot Communications in 2006.

Yanina Erman obtained a Bachelor's degree in Public Relations from Syracuse University from 2003 to 2007. Yanina also studied at Syracuse University- The S.I Newhouse School of Public Communications during the same time period, earning a BS in Public Relations.
