Saras Jha has worked in various roles in the travel industry since 2006. From 2006 to 2011, they worked as a Senior Executive at InterGlobe Technologies, India, where they worked with KLM & Martinair Airline's rebooking and Schedule Maintenance departments. From 2011 to 2016, they served as an Assistant Manager-Online Products (Flights) at MakeMyTrip.com, where they created Specs for the assigned flight product, made use cases for testing, integrated new Airlines on the website, managed revenue and identified website losses. From 2016 to 2018, they were a Manager - Air & Holiday Product at HolidayZ Camp, where they were responsible for DMC/Supplier Communication and rate negotiation for assigned domestic & international destinations, as well as designing new holiday products. From 2018 to 2020, they were a Regional Supply Manager at Bookaway and from 2020 to 2022, they have been an OTA Account Manager at SmartRyde.

Saras Jha completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Tourism and Travel Services Management at the Institute of Management Sciences, Lucknow University between 2003 and 2005.
