Joel Vengco

Joel Vengco serves as the SVP and Chief Information & Digital Officer at Hartford HealthCare since April 2022. In addition to this role, Vengco holds various advisory and board positions, including an Advisory Board Member at SmartSense by Digi, a Member of the Board of Directors at Florence Bank, and an Industry Advisor at LRVHealth. Previously, Vengco has had a distinguished career at Baystate Health, where roles included SVP & Chief Information and Digital Officer and Vice President & Chief Information Officer. Notably, Vengco is the founder of baytechIT and TechSpring, initiatives aimed at enhancing healthcare technology and innovation. Vengco also founded the Pioneer Valley Information Exchange and served as a Senior Fellow at Boston University. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science from Boston College, a Master of Science in Biology from Harvard University, and a Master's degree in Medical Informatics from Boston University School of Medicine.
