Anthony Newton

Anthony Newton has extensive work experience in various finance and accounting roles. Anthony currently serves as the VP & Controller at SmartSky Networks since September 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Andritz Fabrics and Rolls as the Assistant Global Controller from May 2017 to September 2022. Before that, they held the position of Sr. Director, Corporate Controller at Avista Pharma Solutions from March 2016 to April 2017. Anthony also gained significant experience at Patheon where they held multiple positions such as Senior Manager, Corporate Accounting and SEC Reporting from June 2013 to March 2016, Manager, Consolidations and Technical Accounting from March 2012 to June 2013, and Senior Accountant, Consolidations from January 2009 to February 2012. Furthermore, they started their professional career at PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP where they worked as a Senior Associate from September 2006 to December 2008 and as an Associate from September 2003 to August 2006.

Anthony Newton earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, with a focus on Finance, from the University of North Carolina Wilmington in 2002. Anthony then pursued a Master's Degree in Accounting at the same university from 2002 to 2003.
