Bis Mukherjee

Bis Mukherjee has extensive work experience in the software development industry. Bis is currently working as the Senior Director of Software Development at SmartWitness, where they are responsible for overseeing the development of the SmartAPI IoT platform. In this role, they define technology standards, manages product development, and provides training and support.

Prior to joining SmartWitness, Bis Mukherjee worked at Aspect Software as a Senior Manager. During their time there, they played a key role in transforming the IT function from an on-premise organization to a strategic cloud software company. Bis also served as a Product Owner, leading the transformation of a legacy Call Center product to a cloud-ready Enterprise Contact Center SaaS offering.

Before joining Aspect Software, Bis Mukherjee held positions at Concerto Software and Rockwell FirstPoint as a Senior Advisory Engineer. Bis also worked as a Software Development Consultant at Cara Corporation and as a Software Engineer at System Software Associates.

Bis Mukherjee holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur. Additionally, they have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Jadavpur University. Bis has also obtained the certification of AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in June 2021.
