Binon Fernando

Binon Fernando has over a decade of experience in finance, operations, and supply chain management, currently serving as Assistant Manager - Finance & Accounts and Coordinator - Supply Management at Smartzi since May 2022. Prior roles include Officer In Charge - Branch Operations and Executive - Credit Operations at Prime Finance PLC from August 2015 to January 2022, Junior Executive at LB Finance PLC from October 2010 to July 2015, Banking Trainee at Bank of Ceylon for ten months in 2010, and Management Trainee at Well Enterprises from November 2008 to December 2009. Binon holds a Bachelor of Management Studies (Honours) specialized in Marketing Management from the Open University of Sri Lanka and has further enhanced qualifications with a Professional Certificate in Logistics and Supply Chain Management from Spinnaker School of English in the UK, along with a short course in Tourism and Hotel Operations from the Open University of Sri Lanka.
