Joe Puente

Joe Puente is a seasoned professional in the entertainment and media industry with a diverse background spanning various roles. As the Founder of Utah Filmmakers since April 2002, Joe oversees management, operations, production, and creative development. Joe has also served as Executive Producer for Section One Entertainment since May 1998, specializing in writing, production, development, hosting, and acting. Additional roles include being a Writer for Smashwords, an Actor represented by Elevate Talent Agency, and Proprietor of Puente Media, which offers business and media consultation services. Previous journalistic experience includes writing for Sanpete News and Junction Magazine. Joe’s early career featured service in the US Navy as a Cryptologic Technician Collection and experience in technical support and market research. Joe holds undergraduate degrees in Communications and Theater from Weber State University and in Communication and Media Studies from Southern New Hampshire University.
