Jim Trainor, CSP, is currently the Safety Director at Southern Maryland Electric Cooperative, where they direct a comprehensive safety program focusing on high-risk operations and continuous improvement. Previously, Trainor served as the Occupational Safety Compliance Manager, conducting job safety analyses and developing training programs. With a background as an Environmental Scientist at Tetra Tech, they provided technical support to federal agencies and participated in program management. Trainor holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Health from the University of Maryland College Park.
