Adrian Borz

Adrian Borz is the current Director of Software Delivery at Smedix. Before that, they worked as a .NET Front-End Developer at ISDC from April 2013 to November 2015. Adrian is skilled in many different technologies, including .NET MVC 4, Knockout JS, QUnit, JQuery, CSS3, and HTML5. Adrian has also worked with Team Foundation Server (TFS) and is familiar with agile development methodology.

Adrian has achieved many things in their career thus far. Adrian was part of a multinational team of 9 people who worked closely together under an agile development methodology. The team was split between Romania and the Netherlands, so communication was critical. Adrian also worked on building a highly secure and efficient website for a company in the financial/banking sector. Adrian made regular trips between Romania and the Netherlands for project-related work and attended various trainings and profile-related meetings and gatherings to continuously improve their knowledge. Adrian was also actively involved in coordinating the summer internship for their team.

Despite all their achievements, Adrian has faced some challenges in their career. For example, they had to retrieve data from a Back-End written in Delphi and take part in building a reliable website that could serve thousands of users. Adrian also had to keep information/client security in mind for every decision they made. Additionally, Adrian has had to work hard to meet the expectations of more senior colleagues on their team while also mentoring junior members of the team.

Their manager is Shane Dultz, VP Engineering. They work with Shane Schanback - Director, Software Test Engineering, Radu Chereches - Software Architect, and Marius Rosa - Director of Software Delivery.
