Jan Verstraelen

Jan Verstraelen is a seasoned geotechnical design engineer with extensive experience in the field. Since July 2017, Jan has been contributing to the Smet Group in the same capacity, following a robust career that includes roles at TUC RAIL as a geotechnical design engineer from January 2008 to June 2017, and as a project engineer at MWH Global from September 2004 to January 2008. Prior to these positions, Jan served as a scientific researcher at KU Leuven from September 2003 to September 2004. Academic credentials include a degree in Mining & Geotechnical Engineering from KU Leuven, earned between 1998 and 2003.
