Tara Augustin

Tara Augustin has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Tara started their career as a Human Resources Intern at Kirkpatrick Oil, Inc. in 2014. Tara then worked as a Co-Director at the Center for Applied Psychological Services (CAPS), where they negotiated partnerships and conducted consulting projects with organizations such as the Lincoln Police Department. In 2014, they also worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Division of Continuing Studies at the University of Nebraska at Omaha, where they analyzed rankings and provided comprehensive reports.

Joining SMG - Service Management Group in 2015, Tara held multiple roles, including Research Analyst and Employee Experience Practice Manager. In these positions, they provided statistical and methodological expertise, supported project teams, and prepared data for market research. As an Associate Director and later as a Director, Tara focused on assisting clients in the restaurant, retail, and healthcare industries with implementing successful Employee Experience programs. Tara built and managed teams, fostered client relationships, and advised on research and collateral creation to enhance the overall practice.

Tara Augustin completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Psychology at The University of Kansas from 2009 to 2013. Following that, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) in Industrial and Organizational Psychology at the University of Nebraska at Omaha from 2013 to 2015. In addition to their degrees, Tara obtained a Research Experience Program Certification from The University of Kansas in May 2013 and a Diversity and Inclusion Certificate from Cornell University in May 2021.
