Betsy Engel

Vice President, National Call Center Operations at Smile Brands

Betsy Engel has over 29 years of experience in the dental health care industry. Betsy began their career as a Purchasing Manager at Western Dental Services, Inc in November 1991 and later became the Call Center Director in November 1995. In this role, they oversaw multiple inbound and outbound call center departments servicing 230 offices. After 15 years in this position, Betsy joined Smile Brands Inc. in June 2010 as the Director of National Call Center Operations. In this role, they led multi-site Inbound/Outbound Call Center Operations and managed a 105-seat call center, including 10 work at home agents. Betsy was promoted to Vice President of National Call Center Operations in January 2018, where they were responsible for driving patient flow to all Smile Brands dental practices and delivering best-in-class sales and service to both current and prospective patients.

Betsy Engel attended the University of Wisconsin from 1994 to 1996 and then transferred to the University of Phoenix, where they studied without completing a degree from 1996 to 1998.
