Project Overview
Scope of Work
Conduct comprehensive market research to identify opportunities and challenges to produce Simulare Medical simulators and accessories in this country.
Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, regulatory environment, and consumer preferences.
Ensure compliance with international manufacturing standards, including quality control, safety regulations, and potential product certifications.
Develop strategies to meet or exceed our quality standards while optimizing manufacturing processes.
Assess factors such as infrastructure, logistics, transportation networks, utility access, and proximity to suppliers and markets.
Conduct a thorough cost analysis
Evaluate various cost components, including labor costs, utilities, raw materials, taxes, tariffs, and overhead expenses.
Determine the financial feasibility of manufacturing: Cost evaluation for the recommended volume and outline cost fluctuations in response to volume adjustments.
Identify potential risks and challenges associated with offshore manufacturing
Conduct a SWOT analysis that considers supply chain disruptions, regulatory changes, political instability, currency fluctuations, and environmental factors
Outline summary of key quality risks and strategies to uphold predetermined quality standards for our products and implement preventative measures to mitigate potential issues
Outline key risk management strategies and contingency plans to minimize disruptions and ensure business continuity
Develop a strategic roadmap outlining key steps, timelines, and resource requirements for implementing manufacturing operations.
Compensation: USD $8000 over a 12-week period.
30% retainer paid upon completion of proposal and signed SOW
70% paid upon completion of work
Qualifications
Proficiency in both English and Portuguese
Experience in consulting for handmade plastic and silicone product manufacturing, with certifications and positive project references.
Strong project management and sleuthing/research skills
In-depth knowledge of international and local manufacturing standards and regulatory requirements.
Demonstrated success in similar manufacturing projects in the target market.
Effective communication and cultural sensitivity for optimizing supply chains and navigating regulatory environments.
Problem-solving skills for assessing risks in offshore production.
Knowledge of and ability to safeguard intellectual property according to local regulations.
Specialized knowledge in offshore manufacturing for medical training tools, focusing on silicone and plastic products.
