Jayesh Bhat

Jayesh Bhat has a diverse work experience in the legal field. Jayesh is currently an Associate Vice President - Legal at Dezy(smiles.ai) since June 2022. Prior to this, Jayesh worked as a Legal Manager at toothsi from April 2021 to June 2022. Jayesh also served as a Legal Executive at KLT Automotive & Tubular Products Ltd from February 2020 to March 2021, where they provided legal support across various functions and handled commercial agreements. Jayesh has also worked as a Legal Counsel In-house at AvenDATA Technologies GmbH from June 2019 to February 2020, drafting policies and contracts. Before that, they gained experience as an Independent Practitioner Advocate at the Bombay High Court - India from November 2018 to June 2019, handling civil and commercial cases. Jayesh started their career as a Legal Advisor at PrintMaster from April 2018 to November 2018, where they handled day-to-day legal responsibilities. Prior to their legal career, Jayesh worked as a Senior Sales Executive at Prathamesh Agencies from February 2017 to March 2018, where they focused on sales and customer satisfaction.

Jayesh attended Jindal Global Law School (JGLS) from 2020 to 2021, where they pursued a Master of Laws (LLM) degree with a focus on Corporate & Financial Law.

From 2013 to 2018, they studied at Fergusson College, earning a Bachelor of Socio-Legal Sciences & Bachelor of Law (BSL-LLB) degree. The field of study for this degree is unspecified.

In the period of 2011 to 2013, they attended Laxmanrao Apte Junior College, where they completed their Junior College education with a focus on Science.

In 2008 and 2009, they studied at Kendriya Vidyalaya, obtaining their 10th grade (S.S.C) degree in the C.B.S.E all subjects curriculum.

In addition to their formal education, Jayesh Bhat has obtained various certifications. Jayesh completed a Data Science and Machine Learning course entitled "Data Science and Machine Learning: Making Data-Driven Decisions" from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in April 2023. In May 2020, they obtained a GDPR Certification in Data privacy and protection from Udemy.

In February 2019, they achieved the "Advance Certification in Legal Drafting and Research" from the Digital School of Law. Furthermore, in January 2019, they completed the certifications "Certification Course On Consumer Protection Laws & Filing of Consumer Complaint" and "Certification course of Fast-track to Right to Information and Filing RTI," both from the Digital School of Law.

In April 2014, they obtained a Diploma in Advance Cyber Laws from the Asian School of Cyber Laws. Jayesh also has a Diploma in Graphic and Web Designing from Keyframes Animation Digital Media Academy, earned in April 2012.

Lastly, Jayesh Bhat completed two webinars focused on privacy information management systems. In February 2022, they participated in the "ISO 27701 Privacy Information Management System (For Beginners)" webinar conducted by Riskpro India. Jayesh also completed the "ISO 27701:2019 - Privacy Information Management System Webinar" by the same institution in the same month and year.
