Mathew Byrne

Mathew Byrne has a diverse work experience in the engineering field. Mathew began their career in the Royal Australian Navy, where they served as a POMT(E) from 1996 to 2010. Following their time in the navy, they worked for various companies, including Newslink, MMG Limited, Paspaley Pearls, Sea Swift, MMA Offshore Limited, Micylen Express Offshore, and Smit Lamnalco. In these roles, Mathew worked as a Team Leader, Engineer, 2nd Engineer, and Chief Engineer. Their responsibilities included maintaining vessels machinery, offshore towing of barges, and overseeing propulsion and generation services.

From 1996 to 2010, Mathew Byrne pursued Maritime Studies in the Royal Australian Navy.

Finally, in 2015, they attended TAFE NSW and earned a Diploma in Marine Engineering.
