Cory Dodson

Cory Dodson has a diverse work experience across multiple industries. Cory started their career as a Locksmith Technician at Pro-Tech Lock & Safe in 2005. In 2006, they joined Smith-Blair, Inc as a Product Test Engineer and worked there until 2008. Cory then moved on to DRS Technologies as a Quality Support member from 2010 to 2011. From 2011 to 2012, they were employed as a Mechanical Design Engineer at DRS Technologies RSTA. In 2012, they joined Mechantek Corporation as an Applications Engineer and stayed there until 2015. Currently, Cory is with Smith-Blair, Inc where they have held multiple roles. Cory started as a Product Engineer from 2015 to 2018 before becoming the Quality Control Manager. In 2023, they were promoted to the position of Director of Engineering at Smith-Blair, Inc.

Cory Dodson pursued their education in a chronological manner. Cory began their academic journey at Texarkana Community College from 2006 to 2009, earning an Associate of Science degree in Engineering. Following this, Dodson then enrolled at the University of North Texas, where they studied from 2009 to 2012. During this time, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical and Energy Engineering. These educational experiences lay the foundation for Dodson's expertise and knowledge in the field of engineering.
