Betsy Carpenter

Betsy Carpenter has extensive experience in development and fundraising within higher education, having served in various leadership roles at Smith College from June 2014 to July 2019, including Associate Vice President for Development, Director of Development, and Development & Campaign Director. Prior to this, Betsy held the position of Assistant Auction Director at WGBY from January 1997 to January 1998. Academically, Betsy earned a Master of Library and Information Science (M.L.S.) from Simmons University between January 2002 and January 2005, and an A.B. in English Language and Literature from Smith College, completed in January 1993.
