Russell Devendorf

Russell Devendorf has a diverse work experience in finance and advisory roles. Russell started their career at EY as an Auditor from 1996 to 2000. Russell then worked at Tousa as Vice President - Treasurer from 2002 to 2008, followed by a brief role as Vice President - Finance at Meritage Homes in 2008. From 2008 to 2017, they held a significant position as Chief Financial Officer & Senior Vice President at WCI Communities. In 2017, they became a Senior Advisor at Whelan Advisory for a few months before taking on the role of Senior Financial Advisor at their own business. In 2018, they joined Smith Douglas Homes as the Chief Financial Officer & Executive Vice President.

Russell Devendorf obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Accounting from Florida State University, where they studied from 1991 to 1995. Russell then pursued a Master's degree in Accounting from the same institution, completing it in 1996. In 1997, they obtained the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification from the State of Florida. Six years later, in 2003, they also earned the Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) certification.
